What Despicable Me lacks in humor it makes up with heart. Universals first computer animated feature doesnt have the ingenuity of Disney/Pixars Toy Story 3 or the slapstick pizzazz of Sonys Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, but its just as loveable.

The TV series' creator works for a perfect blend of humor, horror and poignancy. It appears to be working. Stephen Moyer is baring his fangs like he means it. Over and over and over again. In character as the 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton, the star of HBO's campy drama "True Blood" is hovering midair, poised for a real throw-down.
